1. Who are you and where are you from?
My name is Katrina, I am am from the HRM area of Nova Scotia. I love our beautiful province, our coastlines and all the beauty it has to offer.
2. What do you do in the bridal world?
I create an annual collection of handmade gowns and veils that focus on beautiful fabrics, detailed tailoring and effortless movement. Each collection is semi customizable allowing the bride to curate their gown to make it their own. I love seeing a bride being their vision to life in something uniquely for their wedding day!
3. How long have you been making clothes?
I started designing and producing garments in early 2000s. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else - ever since I was young, this has always been what I have wanted to do!
4. How long have you been making wedding dresses?
I have created wedding gowns through out my career, however it it wasn’t until later into my career that I decided to make the switch to exclusively bridal. I love being able to be part of creating such a special garment for such a special day.
5. Where do you make your dresses?
All of our gowns are make in Nova Scotia. It was important to me to keep our gowns locally made and to be able to be hands on in all steps from start to finish.
6. WHO or what fashion icons inspire you?
My inspiration can shift from season to season, what is consistent is the inspiration I find I unique fabrics and textures. I love to keep up with couture and designer collections each season and always gravitate to unique application of a fabric or a new way to incorporate texture and detail.

Classic, romantic and effortless
8. Where do you see pearle in 5 years?
I look forward to continuing to expand the Pearle Collecriom while staying true to our core values of timeless designs, beautiful details and effortless silhouettes. Keeping each collection semi customizable is important to be - I want each bride to be able to bring their vision to life.
9. Lastly, a fact that not may people know about you?
I love high performance and modified cars! I have always had a love of fast cars and it hasn’t faded over the years! In the summer you can always find me in a fun, fast car!
